It is wonderful to see more and more people learn the benefits of a positive attitude. Although there may be struggles and challenges, I have always had a positive attitude and I could never really understand the ‘moan groan society’, why people decide to be miserable given the option to happiness. Yes I feel pain, sadness, disappointment and fear but I still find joy, happiness and peace. Everyday I feel thankful, each night looking back on the day, again feel thankful. Gratitude is part of being happy, to focus on our gifts, the value of you and not compare to others.
I like the fact that Shawn Achor’s ideas give people tools to be happy but really happiness is a choice. Who wants to be miserable? Not me.
Create your own tool kit that fits with who you are and make that choice to be happy. The world looks better, feels better with a positive attitude.
