Today was a monumental event with Commissioner Paulson of the RCMP making a public apology to victims of the class action lawsuit for sexual harassment, harassment and bullying. I was so proud of the courage of these many women who were willing to speak up. There is a time for celebration and a time to move forward to heal the wounds, both for the victims and the RCMP organization. The next generation of RCMP officers say ‘thank you’.

So what is next? It is time to take that all that energy once directed at fighting the RCMP and refocus on self care, filling that void once filled with suffering, disappointment, to heal the wounds both physical and mental to take the time needed and move from pain to a place of empowerment and happiness.
