If you imagine the dandelion, most of us think of the weed with its yellow flower covering the green grass. Sprouting up overnight regardless of the hours of weed picking. An annoyance for some a flower for others. The pain of weed control with digging out each dandelion is not only time consuming, backbreaking but also expensive if the professional lawn care experts are called in as support.
Then quickly the yellow flower turns into a million white fluffy seeds that are so fragile when moved by a gentle breeze, resulting in the seeds flying like tiny parachutes across the lawn, down the block and everywhere.
Think of your thoughts and actions as that dandelion. The seeds can create negative or positive actions. What are those thoughts? Do they have anger, hate, resentment, intolerance, fear, damage self esteem and create hopelessness. Or are the seeds of compassion, love, respect, encouragement, inclusion, acceptance, forgiveness, build self esteem and give hope? Ask yourself what is the message you send out to the world? Is it kindness? Is it compassion? Is it hope? The seeds we send out are the seeds that grow. Not only in our backyard but around the block and across the seas. We can change our perspective if we are curious. You never know what is happening in someones life. Is there another way for the seeds to grow with the right kind of thoughts? Perhaps one seed can change the world or maybe change the world for one person.
