No matter where we work, it takes courage to speak up about workplace harassment, sexual harassment and bullying. The article speaks of the RCMP officers and the courage to file a class action lawsuit to speak up about these systemic problems. They needed this same courage. Ignoring workplace bullying can have serious consequences at work and home. The trauma and suffering can be life long with devastating results. Finally after years of suffering there is a settlement to be reached and the slow journey of healing can begin. I hope that the next generation of officers will benefit of a harassment and bully free workplace. Everyone deserves a safe workplace.
