TEDx Winnipeg 2018 another success!
The most important reason was to help others and share the message about ‘ workplace bullying and tools to survive’. Part of that journey included having an awesome speaker coach, excellent leadership team, and to share the stage with other inspiring speakers. I learned so much from this experience.
This year, 2018, I had the opportunity to be a speaker coach and enjoyed being part of the journey with Vicki Olatundun. Her speech “Road Safety Isn’t Childs Play. Or is it?” was powerful. Her message on the need to early education for children, buckle up, pay attention and slow down can save lives. Taking her personal experiences with road traffic accidents, she and her community built the first ever ‘Steinbach child safety park’. Putting passion into education and saving lives. Awesome!
Distance did not stop her dedication. Vicki and I lived in two different towns and used the power of technology to see each other and practice. I don’t know who was more excited Vicki or me!
The excitement of the day was felt by all speakers. The audience at the RBC Convention Centre in Winnipeg were equally entertained and inspired by all the fourteen speakers.
