I am a Research Biologistwith Canadian Grain Commission government department responsible for regulation of the grain handling industry, to protect producers’ rights and ensure the integrity of grain transactions.
I am a big fan of TEDxTalks and was very impressed with Sherry’s TEDxWinnipeg talk: How I survived Workplace Bullying. She has overcome incredible challenges and is truly making the world a better place.
As I am involved with the Future Leaders Network, we have our annual Career Boot Camp event. This event is for public servants at all stages of their career to inspire and support their goals. The theme of this year’s event was Resilience, so I immediately thought of Sherry as a speaker. She is very well-spoken, intelligent, and offers valuable advice for navigating challenges. We did not have any reservations about hiring an outside consultant for this, as she has a wealth of experience in this area. She is an inspiration and we were honoured to have her speak to our Future Leaders Network group. We received lots of positive feedback about her presentation and we were grateful for her sharing her powerful story with us.
We absolutely recommend Sherry to organizations that need to be inspired to make a difference.
