Female Mountie sues, claiming discrimination
Sexual harassment and gender discrimination within the RCMP is a problem that has been ignored for too long, according to a Manitoba Mountie who has filed a lawsuit against her employer.
Corporal Sherry-Lee Benson-Podolchuk claims she suffered years of abuse that forced her to take stress leave and has caused other ailments, including clinical depression, anxiety and loss of self-esteem.
